We’re not done yet!

We have had the privilege of coaching some amazing athletes, all of which have come to Cynergy for many different reasons. We have athletes from 5 to 75+ — all of which have the same desire…to live their lives to the fullest!

We proudly announce the return of one of our most popular events, the Games of the Ages Master’s Team Competition and have added a BIG bonus!

The collective CrossFit community is a powerful group of athletes with big muscles and even bigger hearts! We want to take the opportunity to use this platform of a fun, friendly competition to highlight and support the many senior pets that are available for adoption or foster. Their stories deserve to be heard and we hope by bringing awareness to this special need that some of these older animals find a loving home to live out the rest of their lives with dignity.

Some of their stories are heartbreaking and tragic and they are fortunate to have found themselves in the loving care of some amazing animal welfare organizations. We will be sharing posts and a portion of the proceeds from this event with 2 organizations we have had the pleasure of working with in the past: Friends of the Plymouth Pound, Kingston, MA and Standish Humane Society, Duxbury, MA.

Although they have animals of all ages who deserve a loving home, we will be highlighting their seniors in an effort to bring attention to the many incredible animals that still have plenty of love and life left. We are proud to support them and the tireless work of their volunteers, the true unsung heroes and heroines.

On behalf of ALL seniors, 2-legged or 4… remember: we’re not done yet!

During our search for organizations that support senior animals we discovered a couple other organizations we’d like to highlight:

Massachusetts Senior and Special Needs Animals in Search of Forever Homes
Massachusetts Animal Foster Network
Vintage Pet Rescue — based in RI but on the approved adopter list on Mass.gov

Please consider following their pages and sharing their posts.

Special thanks to our friends Dottie Leach, Gayle Fitzpatrick and Karen Stott.
