Anna is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) and has been with Bridgewater State Hospital for over three years.

Bridgewater State Hospital is a forensic psychiatric facility that offers evaluation and mental health treatment for adult males in MA who are accused of committing a crime and believed to be suffering from symptoms of a mental illness. Additionally, she has worked for the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative, a grant funded substance use prevention initiative in the region, for over six years as a coalition coordinator.

Anna’s Family Members:

Many of you know I am the younger sister of Colleen and sister in law of Casey Florence who are both working on the front lines daily. Additionally, my boyfriend currently works at BID Plymouth and has one week left of nursing school. I am incredibly honored to call them family.

Anna’s message to the community:

Now more than ever it is crucial that people take care of themselves and one another. Isolation, distance, and feeling alone is a breeding ground for depression and other mental health difficulties. Our mental health and well-being is just as crucial to focus on in these trying times as our physical health. For those who are usually the caretakers, though your responsibility is still to care for others, take time to care for yourself! Do that workout, go outside for that hike, get on that zoom call, STAY (virtually) CONNECTED!
